9. Spanish River (3-2)
10. Boca Raton (2-1)
Also considered: Grandview Prep (5-1), St. Andrew’s (4-1), Jupiter Christian (4-1)

This week’s top games:

No. 5 Atlantic (3-2) at No. 6 Santaluces (4-1), 7:30 p.m. Tuesday: This top 10 contest between the Eagles and Chiefs is a big one in District 10-9A, which is expected to be one of the most competitive in the area. Atlantic has most of its roster back from last year’s district runner-up team, including guard Rodwens Albert and forward R.J. Duhart. Both have gotten off to a good start. Santaluces also has many of its players back from last year, and added center Marcus Bentley in the offseason. The Chiefs’ only loss came to unbeaten Lake Worth, while Atlantic’s two losses came to unbeaten Lake Worth – in overtime – and unbeaten Miramar.

No. 2 Lake Worth (6-0) at No. 10 Boca Raton (2-1), 7:30 p.m. Tuesday: This is another key early-season contest in District 10-9A. The Trojans have gotten off to a fast start, with three of their wins coming against ranked teams (No. 5 Atlantic, No. 6 Santaluces and No. 7 Benjamin). The Bobcats’ only loss came in a 95-93 slugfest to No. 9 Spanish River last week. Both teams carry quick, athletic guards who can shoot, while Boca Raton has a talented big man in David Didenko.

No. 8 Palm Beach Lakes (3-2) at No. 4 Suncoast (4-0), 7:30 p.m. Friday: The unbeaten Chargers face a big test in this non-district contest against the Rams, who dropped their first two games – by a combined six points – before winning their last three. Palm Beach Lakes turned over most of its roster from last season, but has had little trouble filling those starting roles. Suncoast, meanwhile, has most of its starting lineup intact from last year, including standout guards Miclenby Geffrard and Torrin Andrews.
