Monday was a busy day at Palm Beach Lakes, with nine football players and one bowler signing national letters of intent.

Bowler Bethany Gray-Shealey signed with Bethune-Cookman University during a signing ceremony held at the school.
She was joined by football players Markell Crawford, Steven Clervil, Jaishad Curry and George Patterson (Thiel College); Christopher Spencer (ASA College Miami); Trevette Bridges (University of Pikeville); Devin Coleman (Webber International University); and Quintel Kelly and Dre’Vontae Jackson (Palmetto Prep).
“I love the fact these young men will have an opportunity to follow their dream and play college football,” coach Al Shipman said. “They worked extremely hard to begin the process of rebuilding the Rams football program. I’m very proud of these young men.”
The Rams finished 3-7 last season, but won their final three games. Shipman, a Palm Beach Lakes alum, returns for his second season in 2016.
