Some of the area’s top boys volleyball teams are set to compete this weekend in the annual Palm Beach Classic Tournament.
The two-day event, which is set for Friday and Saturday, will be played at Park Vista and John I. Leonard High Schools.

Fifteen teams are scheduled to compete, including 10 from Palm Beach County.
Local teams are: Park Vista, Seminole Ridge, Somerset Canyons, Atlantic, Wellington, Royal Palm Beach, Lake Worth, John I. Leonard, Palm Beach Gardens and Palm Beach Central.
Also scheduled to participate are Lake Mary, Hollywood-South Broward, Miami-Braddock, Coconut Creek-Monarch and Miami-St. Brendan.
Lake Mary was a state finalist last season, while South Broward advanced to the state quarterfinals.
Games tip off at 4:20 p.m. Friday, while championship matches in the gold (Park Vista HS), silver (Park Vista HS) and bronze divisions (John I. Leonard HS) will be played at 1:45 p.m. Saturday.
