The podcast was one of a series that focused on a single NFL prospect.
Jackson, who closed a record-setting career with the Cardinals last season, is expected to be a first-round pick in next month’s NFL Draft.
This week’s Move the Sticks podcast featured analysis from Jeremiah and Brooks as well as interviews with Jackson’s high school coach, Rick Swain; former Louisville offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Garrick McGee; former NFL quarterback Michael Vick, and others.
A sample of quotes from the podcast are below:
“I could not believe what I had seen. I could not believe the things that he was able to do. He was a spitting image of me. The only thing that came to my mind was that this kid is 5 times better than what I was when I was at Virginia Tech.” – Michael Vick
“I’ve read some things online that everybody says he could always be a wide receiver. That would be an absolute shame because I’ve coached 43 years and I’ve never seen anything like him.” – Rick Swain
“You just saw a superior athlete. A guy that has been blessed with abilities not many are blessed with.” – Garrick McGee
As a Louisville junior last season, Jackson threw for 3,660 yards and 27 touchdowns. He also ran for 1,601 yards and 18 touchdowns.
