In front of an audience that included teammates, coaches, family members and friends Friday morning, Palm Beach Gardens defensive back Gurvan Hall tried on his honorary game jersey for the 2018 Under Armour All-America Game.
It was a perfect fit.

Hall, a four-star recruit who committed to the University of Miami in March, is one of nearly 100 high school football players from around the country who have been selected to participate in the prestigious Under Armour All-America Game.
The event will be held Jan. 4 at Camping World Stadium on Orlando. It will be televised live on ESPN2 beginning at 6 p.m.
Hall is the only Palm Beach County player selected to participate this season. There were no Palm Beach County players at last season’s Under Armour Game.
“Getting this award is like no other,” said Hall, who transferred to Palm Beach Gardens this summer after spending the previous three seasons at Palm Beach Lakes. “You only get this once.”
Palm Beach Gardens was the latest stop on the American Family Insurance Selection Tour for the 2018 Under Armour All-America High School Football Game.
The tour will take three months to complete. It began Sept. 6, and will continue through early December.
Friday’s American Family Insurance event was held in the Palm Beach Gardens media center. Gators coach Billy Clark was there, as were most of Hall’s teammates.
“This is an unbelievable award for Gurvan,” Clark said. “Hopefully it’ll pave the way for some future Under Armour All-Americans here.”
Hall, ranked No. 1 on the Post’s Class of 2018 Big Board, was an All-Area first-team selection with the Rams last season.
This year he has helped lead Palm Beach Gardens to a 3-3 record and the No. 8 ranking in the area. The Gators host district rival Wellington tonight at 7.
