Louisville added another potential Palm Beach County standout, reeling in a commitment from Pahokee defensive end Latarie Kinsler.

The rising sophomore announced the news through Twitter Tuesday.

Kinsler played a key role last season for the Blue Devils as a freshman, recording a team-leading 23 sacks off the bench.

Pahokee finished 14-0 and won the Class 1A state championship in December, but was forced to vacate the title and all of its wins a month later after it was discovered the Blue Devils used an ineligible player.

A pass-rushing specialist, the 6-foot-6, 200-pound Kinsler was used primarily on third down last season, but should see much more playing time as a sophomore.

He started for the Blue Devils in their spring game against Lake Worth.

“We expect good things out of him,” Pahokee head coach Orson Walkes said. “The sky’s the limit for that kid.”

Louisville already has Palm Beach County product and Heisman Trophy winner Lamar Jackson as its starting quarterback, and also drew a commitment last month from Benjamin quarterback Jordan Travis, a rising senior.
