A trio of area softball players has been selected to participate in the Florida Athletic Coaches Association’s 28th All-Star Softball Classic.

Cardinal Newman’s Maggie Foley and Lillie Rodriguez, and Royal Palm Beach’s Jaime Tino will represent the East All-Stars at the season-ending event, which will be played this weekend at Forest High School in Ocala.
The South team will play the West team at 6 p.m. tonight, followed by the North team vs. the East team at 8 p.m.
The consolation game will be played at 10 a.m. Saturday, followed by the championship game at noon. Tickets are $5 per day.
