Pahokee moved up a spot to No. 2 in the Associated Press Class 1A football rankings released Tuesday.

The Blue Devils (7-1), who defeated previous No. 1 Fort Meade 27-0 on Friday, earned five first-place votes and 131 points, just two points behind No. 1 Trenton. Fort Meade was at No. 3 with 103 points.
Dwyer (8-0) maintained its No. 1 ranking in Class 7A, earning 12 first-place votes and 129 points. Braden River was No. 2, followed by Fort Lauderdale-St. Thomas Aquinas at No. 3.
Atlantic (8-0) held on to its No. 2 ranking following its shutout of Lake Worth on Thursday. The Eagles earned 100 points, 30 behind No. 1 Miami-Christopher Columbus Catholic.
Also earning votes in this week’s poll are Boca Raton (Class 8A), Glades Central (Class 4A), American Heritage (Class 3A) and Oxbridge Academy (Class 3A).
