Glades Central claimed the Palm Beach Shootout 7-on-7 championship Saturday, sweeping all five of its games at Village Center Complex in Palm Springs.

Running back Demetrius Martin caught seven touchdown passes to lead the Raiders, who defeated Boynton Beach 24-6 in the championship game.
Glades Central finished 5-0 at the competition, which also included teams from Olympic Heights, Seminole Ridge, Oxbridge Academy, Park Vista, Lake Worth, John I. Leonard, Dwyer, Palm Beach Lakes and Forest Hill.
The Lions and Hawks advanced to the semifinals along with the Raiders and Tigers. Boynton Beach finished 3-2, with both losses coming to Glades Central.
“We went and played as one the whole day, which led us to winning it all,” Martin said of the Raiders. “We didn’t take any team light.”
