The Hawks, who won the Class 2A state championship in May and finished 17-0, earned more than 1,400 votes in online polling that began last Monday.
The Suncoast boys volleyball team, which advanced to the state semifinals and finished 20-7, was the runner-up with more than 1,100 votes.
Trinity Christian baseball, Boca Raton boys soccer and Benjamin boys lacrosse round out the top five.
Thirteen teams representing 11 sports were included in the poll.
Those teams won a combined seven state championships. Three others were state runners-up, while the remaining three advanced to the state semifinals.
