St. Andrew’s combo guard Anthony Polite has added another major offer to his growing collection.
The Post’s All-Area Small Schools Boys Basketball Player of the Year picked up an offer from Miami on Monday, he announced through Twitter.
The Hurricanes join a long list of college programs that have extended offers to the heavily recruited junior, among them Florida State, Boston College, Kansas State and Virginia Tech.
Polite, ranked No. 7 among 2017 Florida recruits by HoopSeen, averaged 22 points, eight rebounds and three steals for St. Andrew’s this season.
The Scots advanced to the Class 4A regional finals before falling to Miami-Westminster Christian. St. Andrew’s finished 26-2.
Polite visited Alabama in February, and left with a positive impression of the school, the campus and the men’s basketball program, he told Prep Hoops Florida.
He said he plans to visit other schools, and will make his college choice at the end of the summer.
