Both teams will be in action, with the Lions’ baseball team taking on Boca Raton, and the softball team facing Atlantic. Both games start at 6:30 p.m.
Admission is $5. Donations also will be accepted.
Last year’s fundraiser netted $7,000 to support a student who was battling cancer.
Proceeds from this year’s event support Olympic Heights guidance counselor and cheerleading coach Amanda Farrell, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in the fall. She began chemotherapy in November, and has not missed a day of school. She will undergo surgery next month.
The school is selling “Farrell’s Fighters’ shirts to support its fundraising efforts, and has raised $1,000 to date.
Farrell will throw out the first pitch at Tuesday’s game.
Balloons also will be released prior to the game in memory of Kayla Farese, the daughter of an Olympic Heights teacher who passed away last summer.
