A quartet of Palm Beach County standouts were named to the Florida Association of Basketball Coaches/Source Hoops Class 9A Boys Basketball All-State Team Friday.

Boca Raton guard Cade Long and Wellington guard Bryan Williams were first-team selections, Atlantic guard Rodwens Albert was a second-team choice, and Lake Worth guard Avery Brookes was a third-team pick.
Long, Williams and Albert are seniors, and Brookes is a junior. Long is the Palm Beach Post’s Big Schools Player of the Year for 2017-18, and Williams, Brookes and Long were All-Area first-team selections.

Long, who has signed with Rollins, averaged 25.6 points, 5.9 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 2.3 steals per game for the Bobcats last season.
Williams averaged 19 points and led the state-finalist Wolverines in three-pointers and three-point percentage; Albert averaged 15.5 points and 5.4 assists for the regional semifinalist Eagles; and Brookes averaged 20.3 points and 3.6 assists for the Trojans.
Players were selected based on in-person evaluations, a review of All-Area teams selected by state media, and recognition from the FABC.
