The 2018 softball regular season ended Friday, and district tournament play begins today. Check out our preview here.
As for our final top 10 rankings, Wellington closed out the season as the area’s No. 1 team. The Wolverines, who were a Class 8A state finalist last year, open postseason play as the top seed in District 13-8A.
Jupiter held on to its No. 2 spot, followed by West Boca Raton, Oxbridge Academy and Palm Beach Gardens, which moved up a spot following a strong closing week.
The final five teams are Park Vista, Spanish River, Olympic Heights, King’s Academy and Seminole Ridge.
