Sixteen area volleyball teams participated in last weekend’s Palm Beach Classic tournament, including five ranked teams.
No. 1 Palm Beach Gardens claimed the Group I Gold division championship, while Suncoast won the Group I Bronze division title. Dwyer and Trinity Christian also won their respective divisions Saturday.

The Gators (18-1) maintained the top ranking in this week’s poll, followed by unbeaten King’s Academy, West Boca Raton, Jupiter and Benjamin.
Jupiter Christian, Park Vista, Oxbridge Academy, Suncoast and newcomer Wellington round out the top 10.
Today begins the final week of the regular season. District competition begins Oct. 16.
