Oxbridge Academy took over the top spot in the Associated Press Class 3A state football poll released Tuesday.
The ThunderWolves, coming off a 53-7 victory over Cooper City last week, moved up from No. 2 after previous No. 1 Hollywood-Chaminade Madonna lost to Plantation-American Heritage.

Oxbridge also is ranked No. 1 in the Post’s top 10.
Pahokee dropped a spot from No. 1 to No. 2 in Class 1A following its 28-13 loss to Class 8A Vero Beach last week, while Dwyer moved up three spots from No. 10 to No. 7 in Class 7A after its 33-25 victory over crosstown rival Palm Beach Gardens.
The Gators dropped out of the Class 8A rankings with the loss. They had been tied for ninth with Miramar.
Palm Beach Gardens is one of three area teams that received votes in this week’s poll. The others are Glades Central (4A) and American Heritage (3A).
