Area schools have missed the past two weeks of games because of Hurricane Irma, which barreled through the state on Sunday.
Schools closed Sept. 7 and won’t reopen until Monday, though some private schools already have resumed classes.
Public school teams will be able to practice Monday, with Week 5 games set to begin Thursday.
The majority of Week 4 games were district contests, and need to be played for playoff purposes.
Oct. 2 was chosen as the makeup date for Week 4 games because most Palm Beach County teams would play the previous week’s games on Thursday, due to the Yom Kippur holiday.
Teams will be able to reschedule their Week 3 games if they can work out the arrangements on their own.
