In a game shortened to 12 minutes by multiple lightning delays and torrential rain, American Heritage dominated in its spring outing against Titusville.
The Stallions scored a pair of touchdowns in the first quarter to take a 14-0 lead, and were on the verge of scoring early in the second quarter before the game was called.

American Heritage punted on its opening drive, but scored consecutive touchdowns on Henry Bryant’s 4-yard run, and Ryan Rizk’s 28-yard TD pass to John Dunmore.
The Stallions had the ball again deep in Titusville territory before another lightning delay sent the teams off the field.
American Heritage’s defense was just as impressive as its offense, sending the Terriers backwards on their first drive and not allowing a first down.
The Stallions finished 2-7 last year and out of the playoffs, but are looking to rebound in 2017.
Head coach Keith Hindsley promoted defensive line coach Greg Bryant to defensive coordinator and hired David Blackwell to be the Stallions’ new offensive coordinator. Several players transferred to the school, including Rizk, Dunmore and defensive lineman Jamarius Landers.
Dunmore and Landers, both Class of 2019 players, are ranked No. 4 and No. 10 on the Too Early Top 10.
“This is a great school, a great atmosphere,” Dunmore said last month. “My quarterback, Ryan Rizk, is a great quarterback. Everyone gets along. We’re just getting more chemistry … Once we get the hang of it, we’ll be alright.”
