Softball: Inside the final Top 10, plus a look at this week’s district tournaments

The regular season has come to a close.

Postseason competition begins today, with area teams set to start district tournament play. Check out our preview here.

Our final regular-season Top 10 has Palm Beach Gardens at No. 1, followed by Jupiter, Wellington, Royal Palm Beach and Oxbridge Academy.

Olympic Heights, Spanish River, Boca Raton, Park Vista and Dwyer round out the Top 10.

Softball Top 10 after Week 10:

1. Palm Beach Gardens (20-5): Gators open district play Tues. vs. PB Central
2. Jupiter (21-3): Two shutouts for Warriors last week
3. Wellington (17-6): Wolverines are top seed in District 12-8A
4. Royal Palm Beach (17-6): P Jaime Tino closes with 248 strikeouts
5. Oxbridge Academy (22-2): Caridad Estes batting .513, 8 home runs
6. Olympic Heights (20-5): Lions have won 13-of-14 games
7. Spanish River (11-6): Sharks win final two games
8. Boca Raton (13-9): Bobcats fall to No. 6 Olympic Heights in extra innings
9. Park Vista (12-7): Cobras drop final two
10. Dwyer (11-11): Panthers hold top seed in District 14-7A
