A team of Dwyer High School football players finished 6-0 at last weekend’s Airo Battle South Florida 7-on-7 Tournament in Hollywood.

The competition drew some of South Florida’s top 7-on-7 teams, including Fort Lauderdale-Cardinal Gibbons, Hollywood-Chaminade Madonna and Fort Lauderdale-Stranahan.
Those four teams qualified to compete in the Florida State Championships, which will be held June 11 in Kissimmee.
Dwyer quarterback Trevor Omans threw 18 touchdown passes during the Airo competition.
The Panthers are in the midst of a strong 7-on-7 season.
Dwyer recently won four games in a 7-on-7 tournament held at John I. Leonard High School, and has a 10-0 overall record.
The Panthers will compete in another 7-on-7 tournament Saturday at John I. Leonard.
Team members are: Seth Verilus, Justin Birchette, Reggie Gadson, Derrick Smith, Cameron Jonas, Cephus Smith, Zephanijah Fletcher , Dylan Kelly, Wheezie Coleman, Ryan Cameron, Trevor Omans, Darius Sephus, Andrew Kasten, Lubens Ervil, D’andre Ruiz, Jahmai Fletcher, Daquan Wilson, Carl Willis Jr. and Daniel Foster.
