Three members of Oxbridge Academy’s district-champion football team earned Associated Press Class 3A All-State honors Thursday, while four other players from Cardinal Newman, Benjamin and Glades Central were named to the Class 3A and 4A teams.

ThunderWolves defensive lineman Tyler Williams, defensive back Keidron Smith and offensive lineman Robert Holmes were named to the Class 3A first team, while Crusaders linebacker Carson Powell earned second-team honors.
Bucs quarterback Jordan Travis and Cardinal Newman linebacker Austin Basile were named honorable mention.
Glades Central quarterback James Blackman, an FSU commit, was named an honorable mention in Class 4A.
All seven players were named to the Post’s Small Schools Offensive or Defensive All-Area teams in 2016, with Williams earning defensive Player of the Year.
Williams, a Wake Forest commit, also was named the Lou Groza Awards High School Player of the Year in a banquet held last month in Palm Beach Gardens.
