More than a half-dozen area teams are scheduled to compete this weekend in the 23rd Annual South Florida Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Basketball Classic in Coral Springs.
The competition will be held Friday, Saturday and Monday at Coral Springs Arena, 2501 Coral Springs Drive.

The field features teams from Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties.
Area teams include Cardinal Newman, Oxbridge Academy, Saint John Paul II Academy, Palm Beach Lakes, Village Academy, Grandview Prep, Dwyer and St. Andrew’s.
Tickets are $12 per session, and are available at the door. Parking is $2.
