Three area schools are set to host the Holiday Basketball Classic of the Palm Beaches Dec. 28-30.

The 24-team tournament will feature boys and girls teams from around the country. Games will be played at Dwyer High School, Palm Beach Gardens High School and Olympic Heights High School.
Sixteen boys teams and eight girls teams are set to compete in a single-elimination format.
Games will be played at 2 p.m., 4 p.m., 6 p.m., and 8 p.m. Dec. 28-29. Championship games are set for 4 p.m., 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Dec. 30, with consolation games starting as early as 10 a.m.
Local teams include: Dwyer (boys and girls); Grandview Prep boys; Oxbridge Academy boys; Saint John Paul II Academy boys; American Heritage boys; Olympic Heights boys; Palm Beach Lakes girls; and Palm Beach Gardens girls.
The field also includes teams from Pennsylvania, Georgia, New York, Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, Kentucky and Florida.
Tickets are $15, $20 or $25 for all-tournament passes, or $5, $8 or $10 for all-day passes. Children 5 and under are free. Tickets are available for purchase at the gate or in advance. For more information, click here.
