An All-Area first team selection as a Pride senior in 2015, Coblin has signed with Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne, and plans to leave for the school next week.

“I’m blessed and excited to be a part of Indiana-Purdue Fort Wayne basketball,” Coblin said. “I look forward to working hard and bringing as much success as I can to their program.”

Coblin, who spent last season at Elev8 Sports Institute in Delray Beach, averaged 15.5 points and six assists for Grandview Prep as a senior, and helped lead the Pride to the Class 2A regional finals.

He scored 1,536 points during his varsity basketball career, which began at Olympic Heights.

Indiana-Purdue Fort Wayne is an NCAA Division I program that competes in the Summit League. The Mastodons were conference co-champions last season, and were ranked No. 20 in the final CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25.

IPFW finished 24-10.
