DeLeonardo isn’t leaving the school, however. He plans to return to the classroom, where he will teach as part of Jupiter High’s Advanced International Certificate of Education (AICE) program.
“I cherish my eight years as AD, and I would gladly serve many more if that’s where life took me,” DeLeonardo said. “Our team has done some incredible things here – things most schools couldn’t do and things no other school has done.”
Canning has been an assistant football and softball coach at Jupiter for the past two years. A Connecticut native, he headed a large Pop Warner football program there for 20 years, and coached high school football for 15 years.
