Six area teams earned rankings in the Florida High School Softball State Poll released Monday by Miracle Sports.
Palm Beach Gardens and American Heritage led the way, earning No. 2 rankings in Class 9A and Class 4A, respectively. The Gators and Stallions are among the favorites in their districts as postseason play gets underway this week.
Jupiter is ranked No. 4 in Class 9A, while Park Vista is No. 8. Suncoast and Grandview Prep also earned state rankings, with the Chargers at No. 8 in Class 6A, and the Pride at No. 6 in Class 2A.

Wellington and Spanish River also received votes in this week’s poll. Both the Wolverines and Sharks are in Class 8A.
