In other non-district contests including ranked teams, No. 2 Dwyer, No. 3 American Heritage, No. 4 Pahokee, No. 7 Oxbridge Academy and No. 9 Glades Central all won their games.

How did the Post’s Top 10 do?

1. Atlantic (4-0): Beat Park Vista 37-20
2. Dwyer (4-0): Beat Palm Beach Gardens 32-6
3. American Heritage (3-1): Beat Key West 48-20
4. Pahokee (4-0): Beat Clewiston 19-14
5. Boca Raton (4-0): Beat Santaluces 41-0
6. Wellington (3-2): Lost to Fort Pierce Central 41-24
7. Oxbridge Academy (3-1): Beat Jensen Beach 35-0
8. Palm Beach Gardens (2-2): Lost to Dwyer 32-6
9. Glades Central (3-2): Beat Palm Beach Central 35-0
10. Lake Worth (4-1): Lost to Spanish River 28-19

The top 10 will shift this week with three ranked teams falling. No. 6 Wellington, No. 8 Palm Beach Gardens and No. 10 Lake Worth all dropped their games, with the Wolverines and Gators losing to unbeaten or ranked opponents. Will Spanish River move into the poll for the first time? Who will drop out? These are questions that will be answered when the Post’s new Top 10 is released Monday.

4 takeaways

1.Dwyer is rolling. Last season’s 0-2 finish is a distant memory at Dwyer. The Panthers, who failed to make the playoffs in 2014, won their fourth straight game Friday with a 32-6 victory over cross-town rival Palm Beach Gardens. The win was Dwyer’s sixth in a row against the Gators dating to 2008, and one of its most complete. Dwyer rolled up more than 350 yards of offense, and held Palm Beach Gardens to a pair of field goals. The Panthers have not played a difficult schedule to date, but embark on a tough series of games beginning Oct. 9 at Wellington. Back-to-back-to-back district games follow against Royal Palm Beach, West Boca Raton and Forest Hill before Dwyer closes the season with a home game against Atlantic, the area’s No. 1-ranked team. The Eagles handed the Panthers one of their two season-ending losses in 2014, and a Dwyer win would be tremendously satisfying.

2. Matt Dame is having a season. Suncoast’s senior quarterback is tearing it up this season, throwing for nearly 1,100 yards and nine touchdowns despite a slow start for his Chargers team. Suncoast won its first game Friday night after a trio of losses, with Dame throwing for 156 yards and a touchdown and running for another score in a 24-21 win against Jupiter. That performance followed one against unbeaten South Fork on Monday in which the Columbia commit passed for five touchdowns in a 56-35 loss. The athletic Dame has quick feet, good size and a knack for hitting his receivers while on the run. Suncoast opens district play next week with a game against Port St. Lucie. Expect another big night from Dame.

3.The OxbridgeAmerican Heritage showdown is set. The ThunderWolves and Stallions won their non-district games Friday with ease, setting up a Week 6 showdown that likely will determine the District 7-3A champion. Both teams carry identical 3-1 records, both have standouts at running back in Devin Singletary (American Heritage) and Travis Homer (Oxbridge), and both have talented young quarterbacks in Stallions sophomore Cameron Smith and ThunderWolves junior Angelo Navaroli. American Heritage has six players ranked among the top 25 on PBgametime’s 2016 Big Board, and also will have home-field advantage. But Oxbridge will be well-prepared and eager to show it can compete with the area’s best.

4. Pahokee continues to impress. The Blue Devils opened the season with three solid wins, but Friday’s 19-14 victory against Clewiston was by far their most impressive. The Tigers are a perennial small-schools power that has gone 22-3 during the past two seasons. But Pahokee got the best of an outmanned Clewiston team on Friday. McArthur Burnett and Rodney McKay each rushed for a touchdown in the win, while Ezekiel Hernandez kicked two field goals. The Blue Devils will be tested again next week when they face unbeaten Boca Raton. The Bobcats can put plenty of points on the board, but expect Pahokee’s stingy defense to be up to the challenge. The Blue Devils have allowed an average of just 10.5 points this season.

How did Jodie do?

Jodie’s record: 18-3

Best pick: I came closest with the Spanish River-Lake Worth score. I had the Sharks winning 23-19, and the final was 28-19.

How did Adam do?

Adam’s record: 18-3

Best pick: Adam did a good job of taking Pahokee over Clewiston. He had the Blue Devils winning 21-20, and the final was 19-14.
