More than 160 athletic directors, head football coaches and referees are registered to attend the event, which begins at 9 a.m. and runs until 3:30 p.m.
University of Miami football coach Mark Richt and his staff are among the guest speakers. Richt played quarterback at Boca Raton High in the 1970s.
Monday’s forum will cover numerous topics related to coaching football, among them health and safety, building character and values, leadership, and enhancing student-athlete development.
“The NFL coaching forum objective brings great value to coaches and athletics programs while sharing common goals that hit home for us here in Boynton,” Boynton Beach athletic director Evan Caruso said. “It caters to our community and student athletes by reinforcing what we have been building as an athletics department here at Boynton High.”
Boynton Beach and the NFL also are partnering on a junior development program that will be held over the summer on campus.
