4:45 p.m.: Glades Central had three players planning on playing at the college level sign papers. Star running back Ja’kevious Vickers signed his letter of intent to play for Connecticut after committing in January.
“It means a lot to me because, at first, I felt like I was being really overlooked,” Vickers said. “Then UConn came out of nowhere.”
In addition, offensive lineman Corey Jenkins signed to play at Glenville (West Virginia) State College. Maleek McCatty plans to join the Florida A&M team as a preferred walk-on, and former Raider Jerry Jones, who graduated in 2014 and spent a season at Ellsworth (Iowa) Community College, also signed with Glenville State.
4:25 p.m.: Village Academy’s Thomas Neal and Jevaughn Codlin signed with Robert Morris and Kansas Wesleyan, respectively.
“The coaches and the players, when I came up there, they made me feel like I was family already,” Neal said.
3:00 p.m.: Cardinal Newman’s Kyle Cartales and Jeramey Worthen signed with Valparaiso and Ellsworth (Iowa) Community College, respectively.

2:40 p.m.: Suncoast quarterback Matt Dame was one of six Chargers student-athletes to sign today. He will play college football at Columbia.
2:30 p.m.: Four Inlet Grove players signed letters of intent Wednesday at the school. They are Jonas Oge, Tim Kimbrough, Shaquelle Hall and Charles Stacey.
2 p.m.: Pahokee OL/DL Amari Angram-Boldin signed with Fort Hays State (Kansas) Wednesday. Boldin is ranked No. 33 on the Big Board.

1:30 p.m.: Park Vista DE Josh Crutchfield signed with Florida A&M on Wednesday. Crutchfield is the No. 27 player on the Big Board.
1:15 p.m.: Tight end/defensive lineman Jordan Gonzalez leads a Dwyer signing class, committing to Middle Tennessee State.
12:21 p.m.: Wellington’s Ahmmon Richards made it official:

11:25 a.m.: Palm Beach Post Large Schools Defensive Player of the Year Chanler Ferguson was one of 10 players who signed at Atlantic on Wednesday. Ferguson committed to FAU.
11:00 a.m.: Five football players signed at American Heritage on Wednesday, including Devin Singletary, who flipped from Illinois to FAU. In addition to Singletary, first-team All-Area offensive lineman Greg Begnoche (No. 16 on the PBGametime Big Board) signed with Penn while linebacker Lawrence Graham (No. 17) signed with Tulane. Offensive lineman Richard Hughes III and athlete Matthew Pica signed with Saint Joseph’s College.
American Heritage plans to hold another signing ceremony in the future so undecided players can sign. Those players include linebacker Logan Wakefield, DB/WR Keenan Duggan, RB Cornelius Smith and ATH D.J. Davis.

9:10 a.m.: American Heritage two-star running back Devin Singletary chose FAU over Illinois, where he committed in November.
9 a.m.: Oxbridge Academy running back Travis Homer and five other ThunderWolves seniors signed letters of intent in the school’s lobby. Homer, as expected, signed with UM. Linebacker/tight end A.J. Garson signed with UConn; defensive lineman Victor Alvarez and wide receiver/defensive back Traionn Jones signed with Southeast Missouri State; tight end Austin Griffin signed with Missouri University of Science and Technology; and wide receiver Derek McDonald signed with the University of Mount Union. 7:30 a.m.: Glades Central running back Ja’Kevious Vickers makes it official with UConn. Vickers is the No. 12 player on the Big Board.
Today’s highlights include a big announcement by Wellington wide receiver Ahmmon Richards, who will choose between Miami, Auburn and Alabama at noon.
If Richards picks the Hurricanes, he’ll be joined in Coral Gables by Santaluces linebacker Zach McCloud and Oxbridge Academy running back Travis Homer. Both signed at their schools at 9 a.m.
Richards, McCloud and Homer are the top three players on PBgametime’s 2016 Big Board.
Others top 10 players on that list include Palm Beach Gardens defensive back Devin Studstill (Notre Dame), Dwyer wide receiver Isaiah Johnson (Washington State) and Pahokee Athlete McArthur Burnett (Florida).
