Atlantic cornerback Antwaine Richardson has decided against Michigan as his college football destination.
The three-star recruit, who missed his senior season after tearing his ACL in May, announced through Twitter Thursday that he was decommitting from the Wolverines and would reopen his recruitment.
Richardson, the No. 8-ranked player on PBgametime’s 2016 Big Board, originally committed to Michigan in June. He has many other Division I offers, among them Miami, Wisconsin and West Virginia.
Richardson ranks as the No. 900 player nationally in 247sports’ overall composite ranking.
The 6-foot, 170-pound senior is the fourth commitment Michigan has lost from its 2016 class in the past eight days, and the third in two days, according to mlive.com.
National Signing Day is Feb. 3.
