Palm Beach County’s top senior football players will face metro Atlanta’s top seniors Saturday at the Fourth Annual Florida vs. Georgia All-Star Game.

Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. at Boynton Beach High School. The event, also known as the Clash of Scholar Athletes, features 50 players representing each team.
Florida holds a 2-1 series lead over Georgia, winning 29-7 in 2013 and 28-21 in 2014. Georgia won the 2015 game 26-14.
The Florida vs. Georgia All-Star game gives high school seniors the opportunity to showcase their skills, Prep & Sports Vice President and Atlantic assistant Jamael Stewart said.
“Many of the players who were overlooked started receiving phone calls from colleges after playing in this game,” Stewart told Prepbuilders.com.
The event drew 5,200 fans in 2015.
Florida vs. Georgia All-Star Game alumni include Auburn wide receiver Marcus Davis (American Heritage), Bethune-Cookman wide receiver Frank Brown (Palm Beach Gardens), Bethune-Cookman quarterback Larry Brihm (Village Academy), FIU wide receiver Thomas Owens (Atlantic), and Western Kentucky wide receiver Jason Johnson (Pahokee).
Stewart expects a strong performance from Team Florida on Saturday.
“This year’s Florida team will match up evenly with Team Georgia up front,” he told Prepbuilders.com. “As we can see from past years, Team Florida and Team Georgia both have some blazing speed on both sides of the ball, but the battle will be won in the trenches.”
